BY YEAR : 2008 | 2009 | 2010The Jorge Posada Foundation And Newark Bears Baseball Team Announce Special Relationship
Bases Loaded Group, the new owner of the Newark Bears Professional Baseball Team, recently held a press conference at Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium in Newark, New Jersey to welcome back its fans and its sponsors.
The Newark Bears and The Jorge Posada Foundation announced their new special relationship. The Newark Bears will provide funding to the Foundation; the team will display a large Jorge Posada Foundation mural at the Stadium plus have Jorge Posada Foundation logos and informational materials at the Newark Bears Store and on their scoreboard.
The Jorge Posada Foundation www.jorgeposada.com provides support to families and children who are affected by the medical condition of Craniosynostosis, a birth defect that causes an abnormally shaped skull.
