Dylan Christopher DiGiacomo was born on August 26th, 2008 at 6 p.m. via emergency c-section. At 4-weeks-old, he was diagnosed with Sagittal Craniosynostosis. Just 2 days after his diagnosis, we met Dylan's craniofacial team, Dr.James Goodrich and Dr. David Staffenberg from the Children's Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center. Dylan had his Cranial Vault Remodeling on Dec. 29th 2008 when he was 4 months old. The surgery was a complete and total success and he is a happy, healthy, perfect little boy!
His craniofacial team will continue to follow his progress until he is 13 years old with yearly visits. We want to thank our amazing doctors, Drs. Goodrich and Staffenberg, as well as their teams for all of the unbelievable care and concern they took with our baby. They will forever be held in our hearts and prayers!
