Hunter was diagnosed at 9 months with metopic synostosis and plagiocephaly. He had surgery at 10 months. He is currently 4 months post op and improving everyday. Hunter was a full term baby who started to show developmental delay and feeding delays. His mommy noticed at 2 weeks that his head wasn't normal. She started researching and advocating for her little man. Over and over again the peds said he was fine, that his head would round out. That is when mommy got a second opinion at UNC and we enter the world of craniosynostosis.
